This project focuses on developing sustainable, integrated approaches for teaching artificial intelligence concepts in elementary and middle school settings. It involves co-designing curriculum with educators, providing professional development, and supporting teachers to embed AI into core subjects such as science, math, and social studies, particularly in rural schools.
Funded by the National Science Foundation (DRK–12), STEM STRONG provides supports to teachers and promotes science and engineering in elementary classrooms.
